DQ Keeper · iPhone, iPad and Mac

Driver qualification files, complete and current.

Scan each driver's documents with your iPhone or iPad, see what is missing or about to expire, and export an audit-ready file in one tap. Built for fleets of 5 to 50 drivers. Works alongside any ELD.

Coming to the App Store. Join the early access list to hear when it launches. No email required for the checklist.

What it does

Every document in its place

The application, motor vehicle records, road test or CDL equivalent, medical certification, annual review and Clearinghouse records, kept per driver as 49 CFR 391.51 describes.

Due dates you won't miss

Annual MVRs and reviews, medical certifications, CDL renewals and Clearinghouse queries are tracked for every driver, with reminders before anything lapses.

Scan instead of type

Scan paper documents with the camera or import PDFs. Dates are suggested from the scan on your device, and you confirm them.

Forms you sign on screen

Complete the annual review of driving record, road test certificate and other forms in the app and sign them with your finger or Apple Pencil. Signed copies are locked.

One-tap audit file

Export a PDF for each driver and a ZIP for the whole fleet, with a gap report listing anything missing, including drivers who left in the past three years.

Your files stay yours

No account and no server. Files live on your devices and in your own private iCloud. Works on iPhone, iPad and Apple silicon Macs.

How it works

  1. Add your drivers. Type them in or import a list.
  2. Scan what you have. Each driver's file shows what is complete, missing or expiring.
  3. Stay current. Reminders tell you what is due, and the audit file is ready when you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Is DQ Keeper affiliated with FMCSA?

No. DQ Keeper is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to FMCSA or the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Does it order MVRs or run Clearinghouse queries?

No. You order motor vehicle records from your state or provider and run queries in the FMCSA Clearinghouse. DQ Keeper stores the results and reminds you when the next one is due.

We already use an ELD. Do we need this?

Some ELD platforms include driver qualification tools and many do not. DQ Keeper works alongside any ELD and needs no integration.

How are CDL drivers' medical certifications handled?

Since June 23, 2025, medical examiners send CDL drivers' results to the state electronically. The app reminds you to get a motor vehicle record that shows the current medical certification after each exam. For drivers without a CDL, you keep a copy of the medical examiner's certificate.

Where is my data stored?

On your devices and in your private iCloud database. We don't run a server for the app and cannot see your files.

Is this legal advice?

No. DQ Keeper is a recordkeeping tool. The checklist and reminders refer to the regulations, but you remain responsible for compliance.
